Hairdresser donates more than £1,000 to cancer services

A HAIRDRESSER who specialises in cutting wigs for cancer patients has donated £1,287 to a hospital charity.

Andrew Sutherland, joint director of Sutherland and Barnett in Fletcher Gate, raised the money for Nottingham University Hospitals Charity with a number of events last October, including a fashion show and lunch.

It will be split between the Breast Institute and the Chemotherapy Clinic, both at the City Hospital campus.

The NUH Charity works to improve patient at the City and QMC by providing specialist equipment and supporting medical research and staff training.
