Help raise funds for hospital charity

Friday, January 15, 2010, 14:57

NOTTINGHAM University Hospitals Charity is appealing for volunteers to help raise funds over the next year.

NUH Charity supports the work that takes place at the Queen's Medical Centre and City Hospital campuses.

Donations to the charity are used to enhance patient care at NUH by providing specialist equipment, medical research and staff training.

Fund-raising opportunities and ideas, include coffee mornings, quiz nights, balls, raffles, auctions, and sponsored swims or runs.

More daring volunteers could even take part in an abseil, skydive or bungee jump, climb Mount Kilimanjaro or take part in a Great Wall of China trek. Staff at NUH Charity can help people organise their events.
